Forex trader Kenneth Kam, who treasures important values such as integrity, trustworthiness and focused determination, is living his life to the fullest. He often jets off to locations like the Maldives and hopes to go to Bhutan.

The veteran marketing professional who has 20 years of trading commodities, futures and stocks discovered his knack for trading in Forex four years ago, he decided to turn full time.
“When I first started, it was on a part time basis but after I learn to trade, I realise that it can give me not only a regular passive income but also the financial freedom that I was looking for. Trading full time gave me a lot of flexibility. I have the freedom to do what I wanted and also enjoy the best things in life.”
Kenneth recalled that he started small and conservatively. “It was the right move as it helped me to get a good start and be systematic,” he said.
He became so good in what he was doing that he shared his phenomenal success and wide breadth of experience. He organised a series of seminars to share his insights on Forex trading and also created a free seminar on how he doubled his capital with Forex.
He said there were three factors for his success: his mastery of his mindset that enabled him to overcome greed, fear and pride; his ability to manage his risks; and his understanding of the power of compounding interest and he said he lived by it.
“He quotes Albert Einstein. “Compound interest is the greatest mathematical discovery of all time. Compound interest is the eighth wonder of the world. He who understands it, earns it … he who doesn’t … pays it.“
Kenneth describes how it all began. “I started out small with $10,000 and have been able to multiple my capital within a short span of time. My vision is really to start a private fund and eventually establish a hedge fund as a product, which is attractive for various institutions, which are managing funds for their clients. In my pursuit to achieve excellence, it is my dream to establish a pension fund for the world – all I can say now is that it will be strategic and instrumental in changing the market,” he said.
In fact, he will be sharing his valuable life lessons in trading and his moneymaking mindset in an upcoming book slated for mid-2016. “This is all part of my life plan in the next five years as I intend to help people be more financially-savvy through my books, seminars and programmes.”
Known to his friends as a jovial and fun loving man, Kenneth attributes his good fortune to his parents, in particular, his mother. “When I was experiencing the toughest period of my life, it was my mother who stood by me and said, “Never give up trying.” She has so much faith in me and continues to encourage me – this is something I am really grateful for.”
